As the CrossFit Journal states in their What is Fitness article, good nutrition is the foundation for development of an athlete. This article defines good nutrition simply: “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.”
