What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is defined as constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. What this really means is we use a wide variety of exercises and equipment for different periods to time to get you generally physically fit. All our workouts are designed to improve overall flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, and agility, and can be adapted to any fitness level. Come on in and see for yourself!
Is CrossFit for me?
Absolutely! Every movement we do can be adjusted to your physical fitness level, including any physical limitations you may have.
Does it really work?
Yes! We have found this to be the most effective fitness program we’ve ever used. You will get stronger and healthier when you work out with us!
What if I’m new to CrossFit or am not in good shape?
Not a problem! We have a Basics program just for you! This is a 4-class series that we created specifically for newcomers to CrossFit. In this course, we’ll train you on how to: 1) move correctly, 2) adjust exercises for your fitness level, and 3) stretch or mobilize. You will gain confidence as you then integrate into our regular CrossFit classes.
Is each CrossFit Box the same?
No. Each box (gym) is independently owned and, therefore, has its own personality or feel.
How is CrossFit Sterling different from other CrossFit boxes?
Coaching and community are key elements for us. Our coaches are highly trained and passionate about teaching you how to move correctly. In addition, we limit our class size so that each participant receives the specific attention that they need. Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve created a supportive environment of members that encourage and challenge one another. You’ll be joining an amazing group of people who care about you and want to see you accomplish more than you think you can!
Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?
We know you have a lot of choices on where to workout, but in our experience cheaper is not better. What you’ll find at our gym is a personal experience with our trained coaching staff in a small group setting. Because we keep our classes small, you will get one-on-one attention and encouragement. In other words, you’ll get a workout that is specifically adapted to you and your needs. In addition, you get a structured fitness program that is specifically designed to progress from day to week, week to month and year over year. This is much different than joining a gym, working out on your own and likely reaching a plateau.
How often do you recommend I come to the gym?
If you’re just starting up, we recommend coming three days/week for your first few months. After that and depending on your fitness level, you can transition to more classes per week. You may also consider complementing your CrossFit classes with our Barbell Club.
What’s your drop-in policy?

We love nothing more than having visitors from other boxes join us! We charge a drop in fee of $20 per day or offer a week-long pass for $50.

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign and introduce you to our box. You can find our class schedule [here].
